Harz Material and Process Technology Forum

(Kopie 5)

New platform for dialogue between science and local business

The Harz Forum for Material and Process technology views itself as a forum for the targeted improvement of dialogue between science and local business. Alongside the CZM, the Harz Future Initiative (Initiative Zukunft Harz, IZH) is the co-initiator. The forum, which is held twice a year, seeks to abandon the "ivory tower" of science and bring research in the field of substances and materials to the mid-size sector. Here the industrial participants decide for themselves which topics should be focussed on. In addition to technical competence, the companies should also acquire insight into existing funding instruments and networks, in order to provide detailed answers to as many questions as possible and so as to be able to increase their innovative strength.
